“Ok, so I don’t even know what to say. I’m speechless, and you know me well enough to know that’s NOT normal. Since we got home Emma has been out practicing in the yard, over and over and over. She ASKED me to come out and watch her the whole time. Some kids she knew were walking down the street and she kept right on practicing. You have no idea what that means to me. My shy, backward, 0 self esteem, no confidence girl who wouldn’t even let me peek thru the blinds without getting mad is going in front of the entire 7th grade tomorrow and doing a SOLO.
