Ballet & Tap Combo Classes

Ballet & Tap Combo Classes

Our Ballet & Tap Combo classes are the perfect introduction to two foundational dance styles in one class. Dancers build strong technique, coordination, rhythm, and confidence while experiencing both the grace of ballet and the energy of tap.

These classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate—helping dancers grow at their own pace in a supportive environment.

Preschool Ballet/Tap (Ages 3–5)

60-minute class | Once per week

Our Preschool Ballet/Tap class introduces young dancers to the basics of both styles through creative movement and structured learning.

In ballet, dancers explore foundational positions and movements while building balance and coordination. In tap, they begin learning rhythm and sound through simple steps and patterns.

This class also focuses on:

  • Listening skills and following directions
  • Taking turns and working as a group
  • Building confidence and independence

It’s the perfect first step into the world of dance!

Primary Ballet/Tap (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)

75-minute class | Once per week

Our Primary Ballet/Tap class builds on foundational skills while introducing more structure and technique in both styles.

In ballet, dancers develop posture, strength, and technique through steps like pliés, tendus, and basic positions. In tap, they expand their rhythm, timing, and coordination with more detailed footwork and combinations.

Dancers will:

  • Strengthen technique and body awareness
  • Improve coordination and musicality
  • Grow confidence and performance skills

This class is ideal for dancers ready to take the next step in their training while continuing to have fun and build friendships.

“OMG!!! The recital was amazing. What a feeling of FUN, FUN, FUN!!! I’ve never been to a recital that I laughed, cried, danced and had a good time just sitting in my seat. I was telling my cousin that we felt like part of the group; I felt so relaxed watching. What a feeling. It was great!!! The family togetherness really does shine through.”
