Our Philosophy: Where Every Dancer Shines Bright
At A Step Above Dance Studio, we believe in creating an extraordinary experience for everyone who steps through our doors. Whether you’re a dancer or a family member, we value you as part of our dance community.
Recognizing that every dancer has unique goals and dreams, we’ve designed two distinct programs to meet those needs. Our dedicated instructors are passionate about dance and committed to teaching proper technique and strong foundations in every class.
Join us at A Step Above, where we celebrate every dancer’s journey and encourage them to shine bright like the diamond they are!
We believe in valuing not just the dancer, but every family member. Our enthusiastic teachers are committed to building solid technique while sharing their love for dance. Our studio is a warm, inviting, and family-friendly space, ensuring each child feels at ease and empowered. Beyond dance, we instill life lessons that extend far beyond graduation.
Dynasty Program:
This recreational program is designed for dancers who may be discovering dance for the first time, are looking to try new styles of dance, or are participating in lessons as a fun extracurricular activity. This program offers the opportunity for student advancement in each style, without the pressure to
fit multiple classes or minimum hour requirements into a busy schedule. Dynasty students will perform once per year in our Spring Recital.
Empire Program:
Our competition team stands as a pre-professional and performance-oriented program, tailored for students deeply committed to advancing their training alongside like-minded peers. Members of this program embark on a journey of rigorous preparation and performance, participating in both regional and national competitions. For further details on this program, we invite you to connect with our program director, Ms. Sierra, to arrange a conference. Together, we can explore whether this program aligns with your child’s aspirations and goals.
Both programs embody kindness, passion, drive, and determination, fueled by inspiration, encouragement, and opportunity. We welcome boys and girls ages 2 to 18 to join our dance family. Contact us today for a free trial class, special offers, and detailed information on tuition. Let’s dance into a brighter future together!

“I was given the recommendation of A Step Above Dance Studio. They have been wonderful with Maddie, but I am going to talk about Jack. I had decided that gymnastics would be great for him. The kid loves to move and flip all over the place. I spoke to the owner, Sierra Harmon and we agreed to have him try. Our 1st meeting was last week. Jack was all over the place, but they took it with stride. When I got back to the car I was feeling a little defeated. How was I going to make this work for him, he was bouncing off the walls when we were in class, but he had a blast.
This week Sierra, the owner, reached out to me. And I was in grateful tears throughout our conversation. She is determined to make ASA dance a place for Jack to learn, have fun and be accepted for him. Her words were “He is just such a sweet kid and I can’t stop thinking about how much he deserves this. He deserves to be part of something just like any other kid.”
This woman that is a perfect stranger, has never worked with Autism and has a business to run and a million other things going on but SHE GETS IT!!! Her words overwhelmed me with such gratitude that someone that has only met him once is willing to jump through hoops to help him with something just for fun, not because it is necessary. Of course his Occupational Therapist are thrilled that he is doing gymnastics. But this wonderful ” stranger” has agreed to become part of Team Jack simply because she feels he deserves a typical experience.
We are over the moon to be welcomed by ASA dance and Sierra. We are also thrilled to welcome them into the life of Jack.”
