New Ownership!
Exciting Changes for the Studio!
A Step Above Dance Studio opened its doors in 1996, under the ownership and direction of Susan Ward. In 1999 Sue teamed up with Jill Myers and eventually passed the torch to her in 2000. Jill continued to own and direct the studio through 2019. Here we are now in 2020, and the torch is being passed once again. It is with great excitement that I announce that I will be taking over ownership of A Step Above effective January 27th, 2020!
I look forward to continuing and helping grow the legacy the studio has established in the past 23 years, as well as bringing some new and exciting ideas! My vision for the studio is to create a place where every child feels welcomed and loved in a way that will allow them to truly immerse themselves in their classes. My goal is to encourage our dancers to take creative risks and challenge themselves each and every week. I want to not only teach them a dance, but HOW to dance.
As we embark on this adventure, the teaching team and I will be working to find ways to better serve our dancers and their families by offering top quality instruction in a fun and safe environment at a studio they will be proud to be a part of. I am looking forward to this new journey and hope you will join me on it.
